Meet the Nashmi

One face.
Big moustache.

“The moustache and the keffiyeh will take care of you!”

نشمي
Nashminash·mee  /  Jordanian Arabic

A brave, upright young man. The one who stands up, and looks after the people around him.

The word

A Jordanian
compliment.

Nashmi is not a generic Arabic word. It is a Jordanian one, said with pride about someone who shows up for the people around him. That is why the restaurant carries it on the sign.

The Nashmi face: a red-and-white keffiyeh, the black agal and a big moustache
The face on the sign

That is him on the sign: a red-and-white keffiyeh, the black agal holding it in place, and a moustache that means business. He is the promise. Every sandwich that leaves the counter has to be good enough for him.

Nashmi is a fast-casual restaurant serving Jordanian street food: high-quality meat, fresh bread and Middle Eastern flavours, served fast and done right. Nashmi USA serves Palos Hills, Illinois, in the Chicago area.

The Minnesota location brings the same food, the same bread and the same face to the Twin Cities. Same welcome. Same fire. The road keeps going north.
